Let’s look back on a few key moments we shared together in 2025.
For Sensay, 2025 wasn’t about sudden breakthroughs or overnight success. It was a year of steady accumulation—small, consistent steps that gradually made speaking practice part of everyday teaching.
From backend data and teacher feedback to classroom visits and real conversations with educators, one belief became clearer than ever: When children are given a safe space to practice and the freedom to try again, they are truly willing to speak English.
Highlights of the Year|Behind the Numbers Are Daily Moments of Practice
🔊 A Breakthrough in Speaking Practice Frequency
- 2024: 187,505 recordings
- 2025: 2,655,407 recordings
- Growth: More than 14×
In 2025, students spoke English on Sensay more than ten times as often as the year before.
This growth didn’t come from a single campaign, it came from teachers consistently integrating speaking into daily lessons, and students becoming more comfortable pressing “record” again and again.
📝 From 2.3 Million to Over 31 Million Spoken Words
- 2024: 2,322,650 words
- 2025: Over 31,000,000 words
These weren’t multiple-choice answers or written exercises. Each word represents a real attempt, spoken aloud by a student choosing to practice.
⏱ A Major Increase in Time Speaking Beyond the Classroom
- 2024: Around 390 hours
- 2025: 5,504 hours
- Growth: More than 14×
Speaking practice is no longer limited to a single 40-minute class. Students are practicing after school, at home, and in their own time, building confidence through repetition.
👩🎓 More Students, More Classrooms
- 2024: 7,861 students
- 2025: 12,683 students
- Growth: ~61%
This growth reflects not only higher usage, but also more schools and classrooms choosing to make speaking practice part of everyday instruction.
Sensay is no longer just an experimental tool for a few teachers; it’s becoming part of everyday speaking instruction in more and more schools.
Two Meaningful Activities We Shared in 2025
🎤 Sensay Speaking Challenge!
To encourage students to speak more often, we launched the Sensay Speaking Challenge!
- 2,352 student recordings
- Each one a student choosing to try again
To us, this wasn’t just participation, it was visible confidence in action.
💛 Say Thanks with Sensay
During the season of gratitude, teachers shared their real classroom experiences.
One teacher shared:
“What I find most helpful about Sensay is its customizable practice sentences, quantitative assessment, text-to-speech, and automatic recording uploads. These features allow teachers to evaluate whether students have truly achieved learning goals in a rigorous yet convenient way—and enable every student to speak English more efficiently.”
Another teacher described a memorable classroom moment:
“During recording practice, students kept trying to see if they could get a perfect Sensay score of 100. They excitedly ran to me saying, ‘Teacher! I read it smoothly and quickly, and I got a high score!’ Eventually, one student really got 100—and the whole class cheered!”
For one other tteacher, Sensay became more than a tool—it became a partner:
“I recommend Sensay to any teacher who struggles with speaking practice. When you’re fighting alone, my tablet becomes another English teacher in the school.”
Lastly, one teacher concluded:
“What I love most is that Sensay feels like my clone—it can support over twenty students practicing English independently at the same time. You won’t regret it. You’ll renew every year. Trust me, you will love Sensay and buy it every year.”
Stepping into Classrooms|Conversations with 9 Teachers
In 2025, we visited and interviewed 9 teachers actively using Sensay. Walking into schools, sitting down, and listening to first-hand teaching experiences were some of our most cherished moments of the year.
These visits reminded us of something essential: The true value of educational technology lies not in how complex it is, but in whether it genuinely helps teachers and supports students’ growth.
Real Classroom Impact|Sharing from Teacher Tzu-Hui Hsieh, Shendong Elementary School

At Shendong Elementary School, located outside major urban centers, English learning resources were limited.
With Sensay, students were able to:
- Practice reading repeatedly
- Receive instant feedback
- Build confidence through consistent speaking
As a result, they competed against schools with far greater resources and won the County Excellence Award in an English reading competition.
It was a powerful reminder: When practice opportunities increase, students can truly go further, regardless of location.
A Message for Teachers Who Haven’t Used Sensay Yet
Teacher Hsieh also wanted to share this message with educators who are still observing or struggling with speaking instruction:
“With Sensay, children’s English learning is no longer limited by time or space. AI-powered instant feedback and personalized practice help students grow more confident, while allowing teachers to track learning progress more efficiently. Thank you, Sensay, for making every child’s English voice heard.”
Looking Ahead|Continuing to Support Students in 2026
Thank you to every teacher, student, and educator who tried something new with us in 2025.
As we move into 2026, we’ll continue focusing on one simple goal: making speaking practice natural, reassuring, and aligned with real classroom needs.
We look forward to continuing this journey with you in 2026, and seeing even more students speak up with confidence.
