At Sensay, we’re always improving the platform based on feedback from teachers and students. Our goal is to make English speaking practice and assessment more efficient, effective, and enjoyable for everyone.

We’ve released 6 new improvements to make the Sensay student and teacher experience even smoother.

Student Account Updates

1. Click Any Word to Hear Its Pronunciation

Students can now click on any word in the Detailed Report recording page to hear its pronunciation before repeating after it.

This feature is also available for Self Practice exercises, allowing students to review unfamiliar words immediately after typing the passage they want to practice.

By providing instant pronunciation support, students can build stronger pronunciation habits and learn more independently.

2. Easier Access to Detailed Feedback

Previously, students needed to click “More Details” to access additional feedback. Now, students can immediately view:

  • Text Analyzer results
  • Their own recordings and playback controls

This makes feedback more accessible and easier to review.

3. Improved Navigation in My Recordings

We’ve fixed pagination issues in the My Recordings page.

Students can now browse and locate their previous recordings more smoothly, making it easier to review their learning progress over time.

4. Smoother Exercise List Navigation

We’ve enhanced exercise list navigation to help students find and start activities more quickly.

This reduces unnecessary scrolling and creates a smoother practicing experience.

Teacher Account Updates

5. Improved Report Viewing Experience

When reviewing large classes or multiple assignments, navigating reports can become challenging.

To improve usability, we’ve added frozen rows and columns to the following pages:

  • Class Report
  • Student Progress

The following items will now remain visible while scrolling:

  • Student Name column
  • Exercise/Lesson Name row

This makes it much easier to compare student performance and review data efficiently.

6. Updated QR Code Print Layout

To help teachers distribute student login information more efficiently, we’ve updated the QR Code print layout.

Previously, each row displayed 2 QR codes. The new layout displays 4 QR codes per row.

This change helps reduce paper usage and improves printing efficiency.

Continuously Improving Based on Your Feedback

Every Sensay update is driven by feedback from real classrooms and real users.

We believe educational technology should not only provide useful features but also solve everyday challenges faced by teachers and students.

We will continue listening to your feedback and improving the platform to support more effective English speaking instruction, assessment, and learning experiences.

Thank you to all the teachers and students who continue to help us make Sensay better.
